I am giving up sugar. It starts tomorrow! AAAAHHH. I am going to keep my coffee, because you don't want to mess with my coffee! But here is my plan so far:
breakfasts:
eggs, bacon, coffee,
egg, potato, green pepper, red pepper,onion casserole.
OR
(INSERT GASP) No breakfast. I know they say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but for me it is easier for me to skip breakfast and push out eating until lunch, I have more will power and motivation in the morning. It works for me.. but I know it doesn't for a lot of people.
Lunches:
salad- I am planning on lots of salads, making them REALLY well and elaborate- that is key to me.
chicken & green beans
Dinner:
Steak & Veggie
Chicken & veggie
Taco salad
I am hoping to add on and expand my meal plans as time goes on, but I think this meal plan will get me through the first week.

food journal- to end
Ok- So I feel like I am boring you guys with my food journals and I have found another outlet to track my food (babyfit.com) So I won't be posting my daily eatings here anymore. Also- my mid wife is pleased with where I am at with my weight gain, and said I don't need to worry about it at all. She of course added "unless you feel yourself overeating, then you don't want to do that, but if you are eating like you normally would, don't worry about the weight gain! That just added lots of relief for me, since I didn't start out anywhere near my ideal weight, and I am overweight, I was terrified of what the midwife would say to me, but she is pleased! :) yay!!
I will continue to do random posts on my nutrition and how I am doing things. The desire to begin juicing and making smoothies have started up for me again! I am sure I will be posting some recipes and pictures on that too! :)

-cup of broccoli cheddar soup 200
Dinner- 330

-zuccini 30
-basmati rice 150

(this was yesterday) and i weighed myself today, and I gained 0.2 lbs! HOW? i ate small portions. makes me sad. Oh well.

food journal day 1
I have been on too much of a weight gain streak the last couple weeks. I am up to 13 lbs weight gain! (insert heart palpatations here) Which I would like to only be at 10 lbs up at this stage in my pregnancy. I need to gain control of my food again, I have subconsciously developed the "I'm pregnant, I can do what I want" mentality. And that is just not ok to have right now. I am overweight and I need to eat healthy for myself and my baby girl. So I am airing my dirty laundry! (I am overweight for a reason people, I eat too much, and don't exercise enough, I do have PCOS, which doesn't help, but I know I could be skinny if I ate and exercised like I should) I am keeping track of my food for the day on here. Let me know if these are way lame, and you dont like reading about my food, or if you enjoy reading these either way let me know!! I also want to start posting recipes again. But I will start with baby steps...
I can't guarantee I will be perfect at this, nor can I guarantee I will keep this up.. .because I am known for doing all or nothing. :) But I want to take control of my life, and live the life I want to live. Which takes effort, failures, and trials.
Day 1

granola bar (quakers smores)

perkins - eggs benedict and muffin
Daily water intake
60 ounces
(these are posted the next day- so this is what I ate yesterday)
