25 weeks
How far along: 25 weeks
Total weight gain: 17 lbs
Maternity clothes: I bought my first nursing bra, but other than that I haven't bought anything. I got some for my birthday, and someone from church borrowed me some of their clothes. :)
Best moment of the week: Hearing people think that my baby bump is cute, and that I am adorable pregnant. :)
Food cravings: none this week
Food aversions: nothing
Symptoms:
boobs sore- still there, way less prevelant though- however my nips are super sensitive, its annoying! LOL
cramps- that could be growing pains, round ligament pain, etc. My midwife wasn't concerned with it. And that is all that matters.
tiredness-I get tired easily, but thats about it.
irritability- back to normal. :)
acne- got 2 big zits again! Dang!
bloat- no
burning muscle pain in upper abdomen- nope!
Movement: I am feeling a lot more rolls and also felt her have hiccups!
Gender: Girl!
What I’m looking forward to: I am touring the hospital tonight!
What I miss: bending over with ease. :)
Next appt: ooh that reminds me I need to schedule them!
How big is baby:
Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

food journal- to end
Ok- So I feel like I am boring you guys with my food journals and I have found another outlet to track my food (babyfit.com) So I won't be posting my daily eatings here anymore. Also- my mid wife is pleased with where I am at with my weight gain, and said I don't need to worry about it at all. She of course added "unless you feel yourself overeating, then you don't want to do that, but if you are eating like you normally would, don't worry about the weight gain! That just added lots of relief for me, since I didn't start out anywhere near my ideal weight, and I am overweight, I was terrified of what the midwife would say to me, but she is pleased! :) yay!!
I will continue to do random posts on my nutrition and how I am doing things. The desire to begin juicing and making smoothies have started up for me again! I am sure I will be posting some recipes and pictures on that too! :)

How big is baby:
Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts him at just over a pound. Since he's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), he cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but his body is filling out proportionally and he'll soon start to plump up. His brain is also growing quickly now, and his taste buds are continuing to develop. His lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help his air sacs inflate once he hits the outside world. His skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon.

Porky
It's been forever since I have talked about my beloved pup on here! Honestly, I have been a lazy blogger lately. I want to make sure I document my pregnancy and unfortunately that blocks some of Porkchop's time to shine on here. But I got a new camera, and of course he had to be my model!! He is so adorable! :)
He has allergies, poor little guy! Luckily we got him some medicine and he is feeling a lot less itchy now!
isn't he handsome! :)

Vikings home opener!
Sunday I went the vikings game (MN's NFL football team) with some family and it was awesome! It was my first experierence going to a football game! We got breakfast at a bar before the game and then walked to the "dome"
It was home opener and they won in overtime! it was intense! And a great experience!
During the game my baby girl was kicking and dancing and going crazy! She has never been to such a loud place, in her little developing life! I think she liked it. :)
It is just so fun to feel her all the time now! And when she isn't in breech position I love watching her kicks outside of my belly! Unfortunately, she loves being head up so her kicks are super low, so I can't see them underneath my bump! I am hoping soon she will move to the head down position and stay that way, so I can watch her all day long! :)

possibly a gorilla
If there is any truth to the old wives tale that heartburn/acid reflux in pregnancy means your child will be born with a lot of hair... I think my baby is a gorilla. HOLY MOLY THE HEARTBURN AND ACID REFLUX!

How big is baby:
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb. (taken from babycenter)

22 weeks bumpdate
How far along: 22 weeks
Total weight gain: 13 lbs
Maternity clothes: haven't bought any. But I have some I am using from a friend at church, and still making use of that belly band at work!
Best moment of the week: having my husband feel her kick! And I got to see her kick from the outside for two days! she turned around again, and is back to kicking near my hips, hoping she does a flip again (to be in the head down position) and starts kicking my up top again!! That was awesome!
Food cravings: chips.. tostitos.. mmm! and chocolate!

How big is baby:
At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment.
If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily. (taken from baby center)
