Funny labor and delivery dream & some cute photos!

The other night I had a dream I went into labor and had my baby, and I couldn't remember ANY of it! I had to ask my husband how it went and what went down! He told me (reminder this is all a dream) that I made it all naturally, but they had to put me in a dark padded room, and that I threw up and pooped through the entire labor/delivery. My favorite midwife delivered the baby. In my dream my baby was bald and light colored hair, and I didn't remember anything until we were at home with the baby.


Funny isn't it? I am getting so excited and anxious for her arrival! Bed rest isn't really helping the time go by fast either! My muscles are killing me(shoulder blades mostly) and I think it is from bed rest... I need a good massage!! My husband does a great job at making the pain go away at the time, but the next day it always seems to come back, and I feel awful always having him massage me, he has a lot going on, and I am sure massaging my shoulders are not on the top of his list on things he wants to do. :)

Since it has been SO long since I have posted anything BUT weekly updates here are a few extra pictures... sorry they are crappy cell phone pictures... but on bed rest there isn't much I can do! And funny thing... I have EVEN LESS motivation than I did before I was put on bed rest. Here is the link for why they put me on bed rest

It's been forever since I have talked about my beloved pup on here! Honestly, I have been a lazy blogger lately.  I want to make sure I document my pregnancy and unfortunately that blocks some of Porkchop's time to shine on here. But I got a new camera, and of course he had to be my model!! He is so adorable! :) 

He has allergies, poor little guy! Luckily we got him some medicine and he is feeling a lot less itchy now!

Happy Easter

Hope everyone has a great Easter! I am off to church, and hang out with my family, and enjoy a lazy night! 

a little bit of this... and a little of that.

This week I have been kicking back and relaxing, well... sort of. I have been working on my photography business like crazy! I really have been trying to get caught up on posting my previous sessions onto my facebook page because I am so behind! For a lot of 2011 I wasn't posting each individual session, lesson learned.. do it at the time you are editing, WAY easier. It is a lot of fun to look back at my work though. It  brings back fun little memories. Some sessions I didn't like at the time, and now I look back and I totally love them.

 This was an impromtu photo shoot with my baby bulldog (ok he is almost two... ) isn't he just so handsome! Look at those eyes! I could stare at his eyes all day! I love my bulldog.

over at Allie photography has a photography challenge and the theme this week is someone you love.. well this was easy.. I love my Porkchop.

lately

Life has been busy for me lately and I am really enjoying it!  I am starting to feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel as far as my to do list! Woohoo! I scrubbed my floors tonight! That is a huge feat!   Tonight, I ran out of excuses, or I decided I had to run or clean the floors and I opted for cleaning floors. :)

Last Sunday I ran my very first 5k (well if you don't count warrior dash, but that was insane, I feel like it wasn't even a real 5k, it was just 3 miles of craziness) I am so happy with how I did! My time was about 37 minutes! It isn't the best in running in fact I placed overall 109 out of 150. But I don't care. I beat my time by over 3 minutes, and that is what I am proud of! I ran the last .2 miles as hard as I could! I thought I was gonna throw up as I reached the finish line, that is what I am proud of. My husband and I waking up and doing active things together, that is what I am proud of! I loved every minute of it! I felt great!



Monday was our 2 year anniversary. We decided we would keep it low key, we went out to breakfast at the original pancake house, got home, took Porky for a walk, I scouted out some locations for some photo shoots, we hung out, went to dinner and rented 2 movies. It was really nice low key day that  I wanted. :)

I have to enter this shot in click it up a notch fave photo of July! He is just so darn adorable and I love him so much! :) I hope you all enjoy this photo as much as me! (well ok you probably don't, but I hope you at least enjoy it) 

I am off to Wisconsin Dells for the weekend! I hope you all have a great weekend. I can't believe it is the last weekend of July already! Where has this month gone! Well when I get back expect some pretty awesome pictures from this weekend! I have my camera all charged and I am all ready to take some amazing photos! I also have a newborn session scheduled for Tuesday. Which I am super stoked for, because well.. she is so adorable! I did the maternity sessions too you can see that here. I guess I never made a post just on the session.. so I might have to do that soon.

this weeks you capture theme is summertime. Porkchop loves hanging outside under the tree in the summertime, being close to us, smelling the air, sniffing the grass, watching birds, squirrells, kids, runners, ants. He actually tries to eat ants, but his overbite(underbite... I always forget which one.. his bottom jaw..) is so big and sticks out so much that he can't ever get them! But he will try for a good 20 minutes! It pretty much is a comedy act when you get the chance to witness it.

So this post started off with finding one picture for the happy Monday challenge here but quickly turned into scouring over pictures of my beloved furbaby. Even though I planned on writing a post about my loving husband who turned 27 today. Things change. Here is the timeline of my beloved Porkchop. I love him more than words (you too hubby)

LEM photo challenge- Anything

Given the opportunity to photograph "anything" for a challenge... who would have thought I would pick ANYTHING different than my lovely little porkchop! ( I do promise once we start actually seeing spring I will take way more than just porkchop! hehe) He had to shake off his drool and if you look to the left under his ear above his leg all that skin.. yep that is loose skin flying around. isn't he just the cutest! :) I love my puppy! Who is completely different than we thought he would be! English bulldogs are supposed to be lazy and sleep all the time.... Not porkchop! He sleeps a lot but he is either bouncing off the walls are asleep there is no inbetween for him. We started walking him twice a day and I swear he gets over tired and grumpy because he will just go nuts on his toys and demand attention from us! He is such a silly boy!
