So I had decided that May 1st was going to be the day I was going to get serious about running again. Last summer I did really well, but then winter hit and I got lazy.. and fat. OOPS. As I am out of breath right away from running the first minute in the Week 1 C25k I remember back when I was running for 35 minutes straight and beat my 5k time by like 4 minutes! Now I am back at square one. Kicking my self for that...
It feels good to be back though! I have lost 1 lbs so far this week, and my goal is to lose 2! I hope! I ate really well today I had scrambled eggs and toast with peanut butter on it this morning. Finished drinking 64 ounces of water by noon, Had 2 cups of strawberries, 2 slices of toast with peanut butter and that is it at work! That is a huge accomplishment for me! I usually it almost all of my calories at work! having that protein in the morning really seemed to help! Now I get to have Friday and Saturday off of running. However my mom wants to walk/run with me on monday. So I think I may do my 1st day on Saturday just so I don't have too long of a gap without running, or all of the days in a row.
